A quick post on the various projects going on:
1. Greywater Chronicles #3
I had some issues with some of the photos, and also with the layout of the issue. I just am not happy with it.
I am taking some time to fix the photos, and work further on the layout. Not that it has to be perfect, but I do want to be happy with it. So another few days before this comes out.
I am also considering the length. Is 20ish pages too much? It seems like 10-12 is a better length for reading these comics online. The first issue seems to have been read more than the second issue, and maybe that is a factor.
A question has also been raised about pdfs. I have found a way to do this, and will in the future. But I am thinking about compiling several of the issues into a pdf, like a “Volume 1” kind of thing, and perhaps selling it for a couple of bucks.
2. S&S novel: I had said earlier I hoped to have the first chapter up today. That still may happen. The first chapter is nearly complete. I hope to finish this evening and post it tonight.
I am fighting the urge to revise. That is certainly what I would do for serious publication, but part of this exercise is to see what I can do with a weekly deadline (which is not onerous, but still something I haven’t done).
So tonight, expect to see it.
3. Essential Author Page: I haven’t really set up any pages on this site yet. I will soon, and this will follow the above two projects.
